Things you need to get ready before going to the airport:

✅ Get your tax refund form from the Wevat app, preferably at least 12 hours before your departure time least 12 hours before your departure time

✅ Bring the goods you bought and the invoices with you and pack them in your hand luggage, French custom may check the items

Step 1: Go to the section where French Customs tax refund desk is located

Step 2: Follow the "détaxe" signs to find the VAT refund counter

Step 3: Scan the barcode on the form to validate your tax-refund form

Step 4: Once your refund form has been validate successfully, you can start to track your refund on the app

If you see the green sign on the screen and the words “Validated Form”, you've completed all steps and you are good to go! We recommend that you take a picture of the screen for your records and start to track your refund on the Wevat app one day after your departure.
